My background
“You are stronger than you think. You have gotten through every bad day in your life, and you are undefeated.”
Lori Gottlieb
Every person carries a story — sometimes clearly told, sometimes still unfolding. I’ve always been fascinated by how people think, why they think the way they do, how they adapt, and where they find strength in times of change.
As a psychologist, I believe that understanding and change begin in a safe relationship — a space where you can be honest about who you are, just as you are.
In my work and life, I’ve had the privilege of meeting many different people — children, parents, and families — and each encounter has reminded me how important it is to see a person as a whole, not only through their challenges or diagnoses.
Below you can read more about my education and experience.
I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Tartu (graduated in spring 2025). I have hands-on experience supporting children and families.
I’ve worked as a school psychologist, supported mothers as a certified breastfeeding counsellor, and participated in child language development research at the University of Tartu — conducting assessments in homes and kindergartens. In 2023, I also completed an introductory course in family therapy by Kiira Järve, which strengthened my interest in systemic and family-centred approaches.
my approach
My work is rooted in empathy, active listening and curiosity about how people think and grow. I use a solution-focused, preventative approach to help clients identify patterns, draw on their strengths and create sustainable change. I’m especially passionate about supporting people experiencing stress, anxiety or mood difficulties, and those navigating neurodiversity.
personal life
In addition to my professional background, I’m a mother of three and have been in a supportive marriage for over a decade. These experiences have deepened my understanding of family life and the real-world challenges that come with it. I recharge through creative activities like painting and singing, spending time outdoors with my family, but also love all different kind of movies and series — activities that help me bring fresh energy and perspective to my work with clients.
